CORPORATE & COMMERCIAL
The Corporate & Commercial Law Department assists in transactions for the purchase and sale of share participations, representing the interests of purchasers and sellers. We provide counsel in the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring transactions in a number of industry sectors and services, of note in health, technologies and media.
The Corporate & Commercial team is always at its clients side, providing legal advice on day-to-day operations of the companies, complementing the Internal Legal Department or, when organisations do not have such a department, ensuring they have all necessary legal support.
We believe in and practise preventive law, assisting our clients in the negotiation of a variety of contractual instruments, particularly Joint Ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and distribution agreements required for domestic and foreign trade, of note, given the accumulated experience of our lawyers, franchising and agency contracts in the catering sectors and automotive industry.
One of the areas in which this team provides counsel is Competition Law, of note on the control of concentrations between undertakings and of vertical and horizontal agreements, particularly concerned with adapting the service to its clients, ensuring compliance with competition and regulatory concerns related to this area.
The Corporate & Commercial Law Department works, whenever necessary, in conjunction with other departments, in particular with the Tax, Employment and Labour, and Insurance Law Departments, in order to ensure the provision of an integrated and transversal service that meets the needs of its clients.
