SPSCHOOL

The SPSchool is a centre dedicated to Training, to Summer Internships (through the SPSummer Internship Program) and to University Mentoring.

At SPS we aim at promoting and supporting all staff Lawyers in their Training.

We know that this is key to the development of hard and soft skills and we would be remiss if we did not meet everyone’s needs, expectations and potential.

As such, we have developed internal training sessions and support external training.

With regard to internal training, we rely on SPS lawyers or guest speakers to deliver presentations, symposiums or other events which we believe are useful or important.

In turn, with regard to external training, we support lawyers/interns at SPS in all types of courses that are relevant to the practice of the internal activity in line with SPS’s perceived and strategic core business.

Temporary Employment is also integrated into the Training centre. With this we are able to encompass two aspects which deserve a special mention: SPSummer Internship and University Mentoring.

The Summer Internship, on par with any internship, is a stage of utmost importance for both parties. On the one hand, the new and fresh blood of a newcomer to the labour market can prove to be an asset for all those who are already settled and, on the other hand, the intern starts to get their “hands dirty” by putting all the theory learnt during their initial academic education into practice.

University Mentoring, in turn, is part of an SPS project which aims at supporting Law students, directly at the Universities. At an early stage, at SPS students can get some insight as to how the labour market works.

A Mentor is therefore indicated, with whom they can exchange correspondence, who may assist them in faculty work-related issues, suggesting books or indicating literature, jurisprudence and/or opinions; sit in at trials, etc.

In short, you are free to use us as your sounding board for your professional concerns.
