pjimage 8Sofia Berberan Santos (pictured top left) is SPS’ strategic bet for the Insurance area. She has seven years of experience in the areas of Regulatory and Compliance Law, providing legal advice to companies in the insurance sector, pension fund managers and credit institutions. She also has experience in Securities and Portfolio Management. She joins the firm from Gouveia Pereira, Costa Freitas e Associados. Sofia is a Law graduate from the University of Lisbon and will integrate into the Insurance Law team, under the coordination of partners Pedro Malta da Silveira and Carla Azevedo Gomes, with a total of 20 lawyers.
SPS has also grown its Banking & Finance team with three hires. Rui Lopes Rodrigues (pictured top right), has 10 years of experience in the areas of Banking Litigation, Credit Recovery and Insolvency and NPLs. He also has experience in Banking and Finance Law in Portugal and Cabo Verde. Rui is a Law graduate from the University of Lisbon and joins the firm from Albuquerque & Almeida Advogados.
Inês Marques (pictured bottom left) joins from Valadas Coriel & Associados and has five years of experience in the areas of Civil Litigation, Credit Recovery and Insolvency. Inês is a Law graduate from the University of Lisbon.
Leonor Pereira Silva (pictured bottom right) has three years of experience in the areas of Credit Recovery and Insolvency. She joins the firm from ServDebt, Capital Asset Management. Leonor is a Law graduate from the University of Lisbon.”
